And what it does is it gets me moving in a novel way. It gets me interacting with my friends. It\u2019s super fun.\u201d    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm991ikov001j3b6mcgf8bopp@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">            Starrett also carries around a flying disc in his backpack so wherever he and his wife go, they can have spontaneous play during a moment of free time.    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm991ikov001k3b6mpjc4fs4h@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">            \u201cPlay could be a continuum,\u201d he said. \u201cGoing for a walk with your friends in the evening \u2014 I\u2019m going to call it play. Exploring your neighborhood on a hike could be play. Humans are best when we\u2019re playing. I need you to have all the vitamins and minerals on board so that you can have healthy tissues.\u201d    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm991ikov001n3b6m7j9d2gtm@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">            And he recommends at minimum getting 0.7 to 0.8 grams of protein per pound of body weight. \u201cIt\u2019s about, \u2018Hey, I want to have enough protein on board to be able to build muscle and build bone.\u2019\u201d    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm991ikov001o3b6mq7rf7vjt@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">            And don\u2019t forget sleep.    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm991ikov001p3b6mouo8zp2k@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">            \u201cYou\u2019ve got to sleep,\u201d Starrett said. \u201cThere\u2019s not a single study in the world that says you can get by<strong> <\/strong>with less than seven hours of sleep. So, we look at seven as our sort of minimum threshold.\u201d    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm991ikov001q3b6me6qvn5o5@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">            \u201cWhen I work with people who are in chronic pain, who want to change their body composition, learn a skill, heal an injury, we start with their sleep,\u201d he said.    <\/p>\n<p data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/editor-note\/instances\/cm993gpnf00083b6owzrdy41q@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"editor-note\" class=\"editor-note vossi-editor-note inline-placeholder \" data-article-gutter=\"true\">    <em>We hope these five tips help you get started on your mobility journey.
